A Classic Fall Wedding at St. Anthony’s Church and The Bog

Hailey & Austin | November 15, 2025 | Menomonee Falls & Saukville, Wisconsin

A Church With Family History

The ceremony was at St. Anthony's Church in Menomonee Falls—a spot that already means a lot to Hailey's family. All three Mohrfeld sisters got married there, so it's officially part of their family story. I've had the honor of photographing two of those weddings, which made walking back into that space feel extra special for me too!

Deacon Jim presided, two readers participated, and Hailey and Austin exchanged vows surrounded by the people who've known them longest.

The Details

Design stayed simple and very fall. White roses, eucalyptus, burgundy, and taupe. But here's the really sweet part—some of the dried flowers came from Hailey's late Granny's gardens, now growing at the home Hailey and Austin share. Full circle.

The bridal party wore black with green, burgundy, and white accents.

Portraits That Let the Day Breathe

After the ceremony, we did portraits at the church and at a local park. Hailey and Austin also stepped away for a few minutes together before heading to the reception.

The reception was at The Bog in Saukville. Cocktails, dinner, dancing—the works.

Small Details, Personal Meaning

Hailey’s dad — loved by everyone in the room — gave a speech that had the crowd, especially his three daughters, in tears from laughing.

Hailey’s sisters turning their speech into a bit of a roast.

From signing baseball bats (a nod to their shared love of the game) to celebrating with an old fashioned—Hailey and Austin’s favorite drink—little touches throughout the day reflected them.

This is one of my favorite photo trios from the season — something about the little guy peering through the glass felt straight out of an old movie. 😉 I laugh every time I think of it.

I love the way Hailey and her sisters have fun together!

Final Thoughts

Hailey and Austin were gifted one of the last warm days of November—nearly 60 degrees—and made the most of it, soaking in every moment with the people they love. Their advice is simple: focus on family, stay present, and trust that the day will be exactly what it’s meant to be.

Congrats Hailey + Austin!
